Walter Rug, Navy

Out of stock

As seen at our original rural retreat, Babington House, traditional woven rugs are an essential part of the country-house look. The Walter is hand-knotted in India by artisans who use a special technique called gabbeh, where the yarns are dyed in such a way that the colour penetration is deliberately uneven, resulting in a unique movement of colours. A blend of wool and silk gives a softer hand feel, and because every rug is painstakingly knotted by hand, each is a true one off.
