What is your cancellation and returns policy for made-to-order items?
Made-to-order items are custom-made to your specifications based on your choice of size, colour and finish, therefore cannot be cancelled after 48 hours from the date of placing your order. If you cancel your order after 48 hours, you will be charged 50% of the total value.
We recommend ordering a few different swatches and testing them out in different kinds of light before you buy, please also ensure that you have checked access to your property to make sure that the item(s) will fit up stairways, through doorways or in restrictive spaces. Please see our FAQs for more information.
Made-to-order items are non-returnable.
Made-to-Order Delivery
Made-to-order items will be shipped within the time frame that is stated on the product page. Our delivery options vary by region, please see our Delivery page for more information. You will receive a dispatch confirmation from us once your order is ready to be shipped. Due to circumstances out of our control, the dispatch date of your made-to-order item may change. We will be in touch via email if your order is affected. Our shipping partner will also contact you directly with further details on your delivery.
Opt for airfreight delivery to receive your made-to-order item up to six weeks earlier. Please reach out to our Soho Support team for more details. Prices start from £700.
Delivery
We aim to deliver large items* within 3-4 weeks of the order date
(or 4-6 weeks to the Highlands and islands). Our trusted delivery
partners will contact you directly to arrange a time and date
convenient to you.
Please note that for any deliveries carried out by Wincanton, you
are legally required to sign a damage waiver before we can proceed.
In these cases, your item(s) will be unpacked and assembled in the
room of your choice, with the exception of lighting products.
Assembly is not included for any item(s) shipped by The British
Shop. For these orders, delivery will be made to the nearest
covered part of your elected address.
All items will arrive boxed, and you are responsible for the
removal and recycling of any and all packaging.
*Large items include all furniture, ceiling lighting, mirrors and
rugs.
Returns
Please contact Soho
Support to organise a return for any large item(s)*. The team
will arrange for these to be collected by our shipping partner,
Wincanton, at a charge of £99.95 (or £49.95 for members). This will
be deducted from your total refund amount.
Your item(s) must be unassembled prior to collection, and come
complete with all original packaging, including labels.
Unfortunately, our collection service is not currently available in
the Highlands and islands or Europe. For customers who wish to
return any item(s) from these locations, we ask that you send them
back to us using a fully tracked service with a reputable
carrier.
