Bath and Chats

A good bathroom should cater to all your relaxation needs. As Soho House Senior Interior Designer Domhnall Nolan puts it: ‘It’s all about creating a space that feels as relaxing as it does practical.’

Dress up your vanity

'A vanity unit should be the star of your space, with a large surface area, a good-sized mirror at face height, and two wall sconces either side of it to create an equal, flattering light source. Avoid uplighting at all costs - if you don't have space around your mirror, choose a long or wide wall sconce above it'

Invest in quality hardware

'Taps can be overlooked, but this is an opportunity to create a "wow" moment. Opt for unusual shapes and styles in brass or gold finishes. This adds a sophisticated touch to your space, and makes an impact even down to the final detail'

The final flourish

'Don’t forget about those finishing touches. Scent is an important part of the way you experience the space, so add a fragranced candle sinkside, along with a hand wash and hand cream with light, refreshing notes'
