Description

Part of our new Soho Editions, this limited-edition print was created by Soho House Art Prize 2020 runner-up, Juju Wang. Based in Shanghai, the Chinese-American installation artist fuses Chinese culture with contemporary visuals to reintroduce tradition into our experience of urban living. Inspired by the many ways of reproducing fortune, health and wealth, the artwork represents a collection of symbols that impersonate an abundant life. These include elements such as the peach, a symbol of good life and immortality; the dragon, which represents wealth and power; and the chrysanthemum, a sign of joy and happiness.
