Locanda Bar, Dark Emperador Marble

This fully freestanding bar is designed to let you sit and serve drinks across its Dark Emperador marble top. Its curved silhouette is fromed of scalloped panels of olive ash burl.

Inspired by Soho House Rome, the freestanding Locanda bar showcases a mix of materials. Made from olive ash burl, the panels of elongated, scalloped detailing that curve around the front and sides contrast against a dark-stained oak base.

The curved top is carved from Dark Emperador marble, sourced from Spain and characterised by earthy brown hues flecked with light-coloured veining. Lit by LED bulbs that sit just below the surface, the external shelf is made from Black Marquina marble, while two doors on the front enclose an adjustable shelf and glass storage space.

    Clean with water using a cloth or sponge. Marble is a material to be clean with extreme delicacy: it is porous and can absorb liquids resulting in stains. Poliform surfaces are treated with a special anti-stain and anti-oil product; nonetheless, spills of wine, coffee, lemon, vinegar and other products containing aggressive agents must be wiped up immediately. To maintain surfaces in good condition, a regular treatment with typical products for cleaning and maintenance of marble, ensuring that these products are neutral and specific for the finish of your marble glossy or polished. Do not under any circumstances use abrasive or aggressive products, acidic detergents, bleach, abrasive paper or steel wool.

    Please note that for any deliveries carried out by Wincanton, you are legally required to sign a damage waiver before we can proceed. In these cases, your item(s) will be unpacked and assembled in the room of your choice, with the exception of lighting products.

    Assembly is not included for any item(s) shipped by The British Shop. For these orders, delivery will be made to the nearest covered part of your elected address.

    All items will arrive boxed, and you are responsible for the removal and recycling of any and all packaging.

    UK Delivery

    We aim to deliver large items* within 3-4 weeks of the order date (or 4-6 weeks to the Highlands and islands). Our trusted delivery partners will contact you directly to arrange a time and date convenient to you.

    EU Delivery


    We aim to have large items* delivered within 4-6 weeks, but timings can be impacted by public holidays or promotional periods, and deliveries to outlying and remote regions can take longer. We ask that you contact Soho Support before placing any orders requiring delivery to remote or offshore locations. These may be subject to a surcharge fee in addition to our standard delivery costs.

    Deliveries are carried out by one of our trusted delivery partners, DHL or The British Shop. Your designated courier will contact you directly to arrange your delivery date.

    Please note that assembly is not included for any item(s) shipped by The British Shop. For these orders, delivery will be made to the nearest covered part of your elected address.

    All items will arrive boxed, and you are responsible for the removal and recycling of any and all packaging.

    Returns

    Please contact Soho Support to organise a return for any large item(s)*. The team will arrange for these to be collected by our shipping partner, Wincanton, at a charge of £99.95 (or £49.95 for members). This will be deducted from your total refund amount.

    Your item(s) must be unassembled prior to collection, and come complete with all original packaging, including labels.

    Unfortunately, our collection service is not currently available in the Highlands and islands or Europe. For customers who wish to return any item(s) from these locations, we ask that you send them back to us using a fully tracked service with a reputable carrier.
