Classic hand-knotted rugs

Our classic wool rugs are made to work in a variety of different interiors and locations with hardwearing and timeless appeal; meticulously hand-knotted in India, each rug takes up to six months to craft with up to 63 knots per square inch

'At Soho Farmhouse we wanted to create a timeless, lived-in look. We used patterned, vintage rugs with simple flooring in living spaces and textured rugs in bedrooms. It's all about balancing heritage with contemporary.'

Lucy Packard, Senior Designer, Soho House

Abstract hand-tufted rugs

Found across our abstract styles in Soho House Berlin and White City House, our hand-tufted rugs are ideal for a bold interior move, with different variations in pile height lending richer depth and colour to each design

'All our tufted rugs are handcrafted using a hand-tufting gun and make great statement pieces placed under sofas, beds, chairs, or even dining room tables.'

Contemporary flatweaves

Our flatwoven rugs are hardwearing and lightweight. They're ideal for filling expansive floor space, or areas with higher footfall

'For high foot-traffic zones, think about flatweave or jute rugs, which will be more forgiving when it comes to stains or tracking.'

Candy Murray, Interior Style Manager, Soho Home

Contemporary hand-knotted rugs

Focusing on the same artisanal technique as our classic rugs, this collection places emphasis on bolder patterns like geometrics to make a modern statement. Their low pile construction makes them ideal situated in either a living room or bedroom

Opt for hand-knotted over hand-tufted texture rugs in areas with a high footfall as they're less likely to shed.

Traditional textural rugs

Our textural rugs bring together a range of artisanal techniques from flatweave to traditional flokati to create a tactile, three-dimensional feel and comfort underfoot
