Our largest House in North America, Soho House Nashville blends design influences from the pre-war era, the building’s fascinating past and the spirit of the city
Located in the art hub of Wedgewood-Houston, Soho House Nashville takes over a former sock factory built in the early 1900s. Before its renovation, the warehouse was tinted teal from aged verdigris copper, a colour which now forms a key part of the House's colour palette.
‘As the site has ties to the second World War, when the then-owner helped Jewish communities escape from Europe, we looked to the bold, geometric patternwork coming out of Austria during that era for inspiration.’
Soho House Senior Designer, Harriet Liley
‘Materials like reclaimed timber and exposed brick represent the warm hospitality of the deep south, while velvet furniture in the bedrooms and ruched silk walls in the screening room give that rock and roll, country-glam edge.’
